An excellent editing log - the final shot is nicely ambiguous - an explicit reference to The French Lieutenant's Woman could be a fade of a long shot of the girl standing at the end of the cob, if you have such a shot thus suggesting the boy is haunted by her image....or, best to think about this when edit well in progress....the novel Persuasion as false ending whilst The French Lieutenant's Woman has 2 endings!!! Worth a thought!
